Fit 4 schools

Exercise does not deplete my energy. Instead, it gives me energy.

Richard branson

TG Gym’s Fit4Business initiative attributes high productivity levels to regular exercise – and the benefits really cannot be overstated: enhanced focus, confidence, positivity and, of course, better overall health.

Post-Olympics and as part of my corporate fitness involvement I have delivered a wide range of motivational speeches, workshops, and corporate events – with clients as diverse as The HP European Conference, Traderight, NHS Yorkshire, University of Birmingham, Royal Bank of Scotland, Federation of Small businesses, the Networking Board and Lloyds Bank.

Drawing on this experience I launched Fit4Business as a fantastic opportunity for companies to improve the mental and physical well-being of their employees – and who wouldn’t want that for their workforce?

TGgym’s initiative Fit 4 Schools

I have been an athlete mentor in schools for over 12 years and love passing on my experience and helping to motivate and inspire the next generation. I can offer a wide range of motivational mentoring workshops covering mental as well as physical issues. For example, confidence building, mind management, communication skills, plan ahead to get ahead and the life of an athlete. I also take Pilates into schools to improve pupils core strength, flexibility and posture as well as improving their sporting prowess. Any of these can be tailored to students ages, interests and abilities.

I also work with The Dame Kelly Homes Trust to inspire and motivate young people to reach their potential through sport and I have worked with many young athletes and sports teams including rowers and am now the Youth Sport Trust’s senior Athlete Mentor at the National School Games and other programmes such as the FA Game On programme promoting girls football in schools.
